The Hummdot Approach to Leadership Development
 
Leadership Development Workshops

Hummdot runs workshops that can be either stand-alone or incorporated into a broader leadership development programme.

Our workshops are normally 1 – 2 days long and are interactive experiences incorporating theory, practice and the use of real life scenarios.

We like to include pre-work, post-embedding work and we encourage peer support and shared learning.

Sample Workshops:

Become the Best Version of You

We explore strengths, development areas and participants’ reality in order to “become the story they want to tell”.  
We seek evidence for “their story” and challenge participants to align values and motivators with reality.

AIM – to build genuine leadership confidence and alignment with values.

 
Lead a High Performing Team

We explore the concept of leading with personal power, not just authoritative power.  Using team models we ask participants to conduct planning specific to their team and current world.

AIM – to reduce the gap between current team effectiveness and the true potential of the team.
Lead with Your Own Voice

We explore impact and authenticity – we look at role models and explore how the participant themselves becomes a role model.  We look at the impact we have in what we say, how we say it and in managing the impression others have of us.
We review the use of story-telling and how we can engage others.

AIM – to help leaders inject their own personalities into the messages they need to deliver and to say them with conviction.
Having Challenging Conversations

We explore the repercussions of not having these conversations and the pro’s of tackling them early on.  We look at participants’ view of ‘challenging’ and also review the concept of being ‘respected’ versus being ‘liked’.
Within this workshop we also tackle the issue of empowering others to take responsibility for their actions.

AIM – to provide leaders with the toolkit and know-how to have the conversations they need to have at the earliest opportunity.

Leadership Development Design

Services include:
  • Designing your leadership programme
  • Working alongside you to develop your leadership programme
  • Helping you build upon an existing framework
  • Aligning your leadership programme to your Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) or ‘Better Business’ agenda*

*For this we can work alongside your CSR team, your charity partners or help you determine a better business topic that works for you.  The aim with this approach is to build ‘sustainable leaders’ and to engage your employees with the CSR agenda.
